Cool Beans Coffee Cafe Cruise: July, 2010
The "Texas Bowties", 1st Generation Camaro Club, invited us to a cruise on Saturday, July 31st. The few of us that participated had a great time mixing it up on the road with our big brothers.
Camaro's started rolling into the parking lot around 8 am. By 9:30 our belly's were full of breakfast and the parking lot was ready to hit the road headed to Spring Branch with 5 - 1st Gens, 1 - 3rd Gen, and 8 - 5th Gens.
After arriving in Spring Branch our group joined up with the SouthTexas Car Club's "Early Bird Cruise In" at Fischer's Country Store. Our 14 Camaro drivers, with their families, mingled with approximately 20 other various hotrod owners and their families. Before we knew it our time had come to depart Fischer's and head to Lukenbach, Texas. to continue our cruise and have lunch.
Our Camaros rumbling in to town was well accepted by a warm welcome by town folk and visitors. Lunch was great and the atmopshere was even better. We timed our visit just right because that day Clay McClinton was there releasing his "Livin Out Loud" CD and Paula Nelson was releasing her "Little Cities" CD.
