TGI Friday's & Bud Lite Camaro Appreciation Night: April 9th, 2010
Ok...so where do I start...?
With the fact that our first member to show up yesterday got to Friday's just after 3PM? -- U-DA-MAN, AJ !!!! (ajs69cam)
Or that Ernest (C4) must have PM'ed everyone in Texas to notify them of this event? (thanks, Bud!).
Or that we had proud Camaro5 owners driving in from Ft. Hood, Killeen, Copperas Cove, Katy, Brookshire, Kyle, Austin, Round Rock, Houston, Odem, and even Massachusetts (ok, they just moved here, but still...)?
Or that Justin #2 (bumblebee1029) and Friday's outdid themselves in support for us by putting on this great event? I mean...Julie and "G" made sure food and drink were flowing--Julie even customized her uniform shirt with "Camaro5" all over the back (you go, girl!). Then there was the Bud Lite Drag Racing car, and Justin sectioned off the parking lot so we could drink outside while looking at our cars. There, we found tubs of iced down Bud beers, and a DJ playing great music for all to enjoy (and even some to dance to--ummm...somebody cut that guy off!). Thank you very much for going the extra mile, Justin #2 and TGI Friday's at I-10 and DeZavala--you rock!!
Or maybe the bottom line...we had over 50 cars attend, with family and friends in tow. I did several walk-arounds of the parking lot and signed in as many folks as I could on my netbook. By my best count, we were 52 Camaros strong last night (you do the math on how much horsepower that adds up to)!
